SECURITY – Grady Arrowood
Grady Arrowood spent most of his working life in textiles. When plants closed, he moved to construction. Last year, he found his spot managing a very busy gate at a grocery distribution center. Arrowood’s supervisor says of him, “Top notch, above and beyond.”
On an average shift, Arrowood is responsible for the entry and exit of 100-125 vehicles, which he inspects going in and out. In addition, he provides direction to numerous vehicles looking for correct entry into the massive complex.
He says, “I was raised to do the job like it should be done, do it to the best of my ability, and don’t cut corners."
